Administrative Assistant


Reporting to:   Company Director and Office Manager

The Location:  Cheltenham Town Centre

A position has arisen for an administration assistant to take a key role in our growing Crypto accountancy business. The position will involve working within a small administration team and will offer a great opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail, accuracy and motivation.

Our offices are in a fabulous location in Cheltenham town centre within easy walking distance of car parks. We work with the most innovative software and systems to ensure we stay at the forefront of the accountancy market. The Crypto accountancy world is growing at an incredibly fast pace and we require someone join us to assist with our fast-growing client base. Our team is focused, dynamic and friendly!

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the efficient running of our busy office and provide administrative support to colleagues
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new clients
  • Completing anti money laundering checks for new and existing clients maintaining regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with clients and maintaining records as required
  • Assisting other areas of the wider business in their administration needs as and when required
  • Maintaining stock and ordering office supplies
  • General admin duties – scanning and filing the post, emails and answering the telephone

Job Description

  • Enter data into various required systems
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner providing excellent customer service
  • Associated administrative tasks to role/company
  • Any other tasks required by Company Director or Office Manager
  • Meet specified targets
  • Attend and appropriately take part in regular appraisal meetings
  • Assist Practice Manager in all aspects of business administration as required

Required Skills/Minimum Person Specification

  • Show an aptitude and keenness to succeed in a busy accountancy practice
  • 5 GCSEs A-C, must include English and Maths
  • Excellent IT skills and understanding of technology
  • Experience of administrative skills and the ability to file documents accurately (desirable but full training will be given)
  • Ability to check own work
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to detect inconsistencies and prioritise workload effectively
  • Show initiative when required
  • Be a team player, but also able to work independently

Salary: £18-22k Pro-rata
