Experienced Financial Services Technical Administrator

Cheltenham

We are ideally looking for Full-Time Technical Administrator (but two competent job sharers may be considered). The role is office based; the working hours are 9am to 5pm.

An experienced Technical IFA Administrator is required by Cheltenham Independent Financial Wealth Manager.

There is an excellent basic package on offer for the right person, including good salary, pension, life assurance and critical illness cover, office closure at Christmas, incentives towards industry qualifications.

The office is situated within walking distance of Cheltenham town centre.

The role

Providing financial planning support to the IFA for real HNW clients across investments, taxation and pensions.
A professional practice that continues to grow and now seeks an experienced team member to support the Financial Planner.

As IFA Support you will deal with the preparation for client meetings (new and review meetings) and careful follow up of all action points. New business processing, and other ad hoc servicing tasks, valuations, careful record keeping and data management plus liaison with clients and providers/platforms.

You will be experienced in supporting Financial Planners including exposure to the industry platforms and back-office tools. You will have excellent team working and attention to detail skills whilst also capable of operating on your own initiative taking responsibility for your full remit.

You will have excellent administration skills/experience and have good understanding of the financial services industry, ideally within an independent environment. You will have excellent communication skills as there will be some liaison with clients. See below for full details of the skills and experience required.

Experience of Intelligent Office will be a bonus!
