Investment Operations Analyst
Cheltenham (Hybrid working model)
Starting salary £20,000 - £23,000


My client is a multi-award-winning financial services firm. The Cheltenham office serves as the operational hub for the Company’s rapidly growing Wealth Solutions business. They pride themselves on offering innovative solutions to their clients remaining at the forefront of their industry.
My client offers a 2-2-1 working model. 2 days in the office, 2 days from home, 1 day either.


More about the role:
The Investment Operations Analyst will form part of the fast paced, high performing team that is responsible for the back-office administration of the Wealth Management division. The team is big enough to get involved with different areas of Wealth Management administration but small enough to not just be a number. You’ll truly feel part of something special.


Key Responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support to discretionary fund managers
• Liaising with clients directly via a client portal to address requests/queries
• Processing and validating static data
• Reconciling cash, stock, and trades daily
• Executing funds and settling trades
• Processing transfer requests
• Allocating of funds
• Processing and uploading transaction reports
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of company procedures and policies and completing compliance training in a timely manner


Requirements
• Ideally candidates will have some formal knowledge (or otherwise) of finance and/or banking
• Be a self-starter with the ability to motivate yourself
• Excellent attention to detail
• A passion for numbers/banking or finance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
