Administrator

Cirencester

Parish of Cirencester with Watermoor and St Lawrence.

We are hoping to appoint an Administrator to work in the Parish office for 8 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities will be shared with another colleague on a job-share basis. The main duties include acting as a receptionist and answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, managing the parish diary, compiling rotas, and other administrative tasks as required.

We are looking for someone who has excellent people skills, including discretion and diplomacy, is proficient in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, who is organised but flexible, and who can use their own initiative.

The post-holder will be line-managed by the Rev. Canon Graham Morris, with further support offered by experienced volunteers. Training and induction will be provided as appropriate. Remuneration is £10 per hour.
