IT Trainers - Part-time/Temporary - £14.50 per hour
Cheltenham
Self-Employed 6 Month Contract
IT Schools Africa is based in Leckhampton, Cheltenham, a UK Registered Charity with a mission to transform IT Education in Africa. We have been delivering technology, digital access and skills to those who need it most in Africa and the UK for over 16 years. IT Schools Africa’s mission is to transform lives through access to and improved use of digital technology.
We are looking for a small team of IT Trainers to help us to plan and deliver an exciting Digital Inclusion Project within Gloucestershire.
Main Tasks:
- Formulate and deliver hour long, one to one, digital training sessions, to adults with limited digital knowledge, access or skills, or those seeking to build on the skills they have
- Maintain equipment (laptops, tablets, 3D printer, VR headsets), ensure software is up to date and hardware is functional
Place of Work:
Working from the DigiBus (a converted double decker bus) which will be visiting community venues within the following locations, for two to four days at a time. Travel to the bus required each day in the area(s) being covered.

- Gloucester
- Cheltenham & Tewkesbury
- North Cotswolds
- South Cotswolds
- Stroud
Bus Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Hours of Work: A variety of shift patterns will be available to cover the above hours
Requirements: Minimum Level 3 AET (previously PTLLS) or equivalent, driving licence and own transport
Start Date: As Soon as Possible
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check, at IT Schools Africa's expense.
