Isbourne Valley School is looking to appoint an excellent, well-organised and enthusiastic School Administrator who wants a great job in a great school in a great location.

The position will be part time for 19 hours per week (2.5 days). There is some flexibility in respect of days to be worked and this will be discussed with the candidate at interview.

The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for the school and provide the first point of contact for staff, parents, pupils and visitors to the school and must therefore have a welcoming and friendly nature in person and on the telephone. Responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the school but include general receptionist, clerical and administrative tasks and duties, secretarial support, ordering pupil daily lunches, data inputting and dealing with messages and enquiries. Knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure, manage their workload efficiently and independently and have a clear and consistent approach to working with children, parents and other lead professionals.

Applicants must have a good standard of general education including GCSEs in English and Maths.
