Nursery Practitioner - Part Time

Into play has been established for 28 years and enjoys an outstanding reputation. We are looking for a quality qualified individual to join one of our busy teams.

Previous experience within the role is not essentialbut you will need a willingness to further your professional development.

This is a permanent role, hours to be agreed. You will be contracted for 52 weeks of the year (nursery closes for 1 week at Christmas plus all Bank Holidays)

Role Purpose/ Key Objectives

• To support a team in a child-centered environment which is FUN.
• Ensure the children are cared for in a safe, educationally stimulating way helping them reach their full potential.                                                     
• To build excellent relationships with parents/carers and be able to record progress and feedback regularly.
• Implement Into play’s policies and procedures with an emphasis on safeguarding as set down by the local Safeguarding Board.
• Deliver and uphold Into play’s Vision & Core Values on an ongoing basis.
• Provide support to the Nursery Manager, Room Leaders & the team.
• Work towards acquiring outstanding at our next inspection.
• To develop links with other childcare settings and especially our other sites.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Role model to staff and children
• A commitment to undertake all necessary training requirements by law and regulation.
• A willingness to work as part of a team.

Salary: Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Hours Per Week: Permanent, Full time – 30 a week, 12 – 6pm Monday - Friday
