*Experienced or Trainee Event Crew - Flexible Work, Summer 2021 and Beyond*

We are looking for experienced or trainee people (male or female aged 18 and over) to join our event crew.

Based in Cheltenham, we work at a wide range of events across Gloucestershire and the South-West.

You must be physically fit and keen to work to the same high standards that we expect from all of our staff.

We work at unusual hours of the day/night, and during any part of the week so you must be able to get yourself to/from our Cheltenham venues. For work further afield we will provide transport from/to Cheltenham.

We provide crew and technical staff to a wide range of events, including concerts, exhibitions, festivals and corporate events.

In the summer of 2021 (as live events slowly come back to life), that means outdoor work for the most part - setting up glamping fields, fencing and barriers for festivals, staging for outdoor concerts etc.

As the year progresses we expect to see the return of our Gloucestershire indoor venues (we are primary crew suppliers to Cheltenham Racecourse and Cheltenham Town Hall) and more regular, more local work.

We have work starting immediately, and are expecting to be very busy over the next month or two.

Key Duties Include:

● Loading and unloading of goods and equipment from vehicles
● Transporting goods and equipment into the venue
● Assembling / disassembling temporary staging, truss systems, fencing, crowd barrier etc.
● Providing manual labour support to clients as and when required

● Maintaining a safe and secure environment for yourself and other staff.
● Providing a quick, safe and efficient service for the client
● Working as part of the team to complete the task in a safe and efficient manner
● Receiving and understanding instructions from the client / teamleader in order to correctly carry out a task
● Be aware of the equipment, the environment and task in order to minimise all damage and injuries at all times.

Hours per Week:

We offer event work on a zero-hours basis, meaning you won’t be working a fixed number of hours from week to week. This offers an excellent opportunity for you to be entirely flexible and plan your shifts around other work commitments, university or childcare. All available shifts will be posted on our online calendar, and you will be responsible for selecting the shifts that you want to work- you are only required to work the shifts that you sign up for.

To apply please contact us by clicking on the Apply Now Button.
Telephone / video interviews to be conducted weekly as required.

Salary: £8.91/hr plus holiday pay, with higher rates for skilled crew and supervisors
