G-TEKT Europe Manufacturing Ltd (G-TEM) is a global organisation within the field of design, development and manufacture of automotive body structures and engineering services.

Now is a great time to be thinking of joining us. We currently operate 4 UK production facilities with our European Headquarters located on the Gloucester Business Park in Brockworth Gloucester. 

We are looking for a number of Technical Engineering Apprentices to join us on this exciting journey. 

Our 4 year programme will provide you with an excellent foundation to start a career in engineering.  We offer a range of engineering disciplines such as Tool-Making/Die Maintenance and Electro-Mechanical Maintenance.

About

Year 1 of the apprenticeship programme will be based full-time at college learning the practical and theoretical principles of engineering. You will complete a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Years 2 – 4 you will work towards completing a Level 3 NVQ Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, either in Tool Making & Die Maintenance or Electro-Mechanical Maintenance


Skills, Abilities, Experience

Essential:
• 5 GCSE’s at Grade C (9 – 4 new grades or equivalent) or above in Maths, English & Science

Desirable:

• Motivated to learn with a positive attitude and a passion for engineering.

• Can use their own initiative and be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.

• Excellent communication skills and good reading and writing skills.

• Good problem solving-fault finding skills

• Able to work to shifts after a period of time within the role.

• Familiar with Microsoft desktop operating system and office suite.
