Substance Misuse 90 Day Traineeship - 727

It’s almost the New Year and you are looking for an exciting new opportunity!

Are you passionate about working with people? Are you interested in supporting people wanting recovery from drug and alcohol addiction? Are you a person with lived experience? Do you have experience working in a supporting capacity but want to change your specialism, or are you someone looking to completely change what you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for interested and dedicated individuals to enter a new Workforce Development Initiative. We are looking for people who want to upskill themselves to be a part of the Substance Misuse sector. We are offering a comprehensive, 90 day, paid training opportunity for interested individuals who are ready to become part of a committed practical training program.

Working in the sector is a rewarding role where you can utilise your people skills to make a real difference in the lives of those suffering with substance misuse problems.

This training opportunity will be flexible, and pays permitted earnings. This means you could earn up to £152 per week whilst training.

Do not worry if you don’t have any relevant work experience, the skills and support you need to be effective in this sector are provided along the way, through a variety of different learning opportunities. Training models include face to face sessions, online and digital learning as well as ‘on-the-job’ training and coaching.

At the end of the training period you will be guaranteed an interview for any full time posts that you may wish to apply for across the partnership agencies.

Commencement of Traineeship: 2nd January 2024
