Trainee Mechanical Services Engineer

Tewkesbury

Woodward & Co. are looking to add enthusiastic school or college leavers to our expanding team.

We are a mechanical services engineering company who specialise in all aspects of the design and installation of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water services and Fire Protection of buildings nationwide in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

We pride ourselves in our ability to a deliver first class service to our Clients in a proactive manner, regardless of the challenges presented.

The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering and problem solving and will be excited about the prospect of working in an office based role that will also take them to sites around the country on a regular basis.

We have opportunities in our design, contracts and fire protection divisions for the right person, who will demonstrate their willingness to learn and grow into the role.

Full training will be offered in house with the possibility of level 3/4 HNC / HND day release college enrolment following probationary period, along with hands on experience of AutoCad 2D and 3D CAD software and Bentley Hevacomp Environmental Design package.

Requirements:

  • Strong engineering or technical interest
  • Proactive, enthusiastic personality
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An excellent eye for detail, taking pride in your work
  • Willingness to learn through asking questions
  • Good GCSE grades in English, maths and Science
  • No previous engineering employment necessary
