Accounting Technician
Cheltenham
The Finance Team is looking to recruit an accounting technician to support the internal finance team and other administrative staff.
Duties include:
- Maintaining School Trip reconciliations
- Entering and reconciling all supplier payments onto finance system
- Collating credit card receipts
- Intercompany account reconciliations
- Reconciliation of sundry bank accounts
- Accounting for charity collections
- Collating and banking of Theatre cash, including counting of daily takings and reconciliation to EPOS
- Reconciliation of Theatre takings, including Chip and Pin
- Part time accounting technician (or suitably qualified by experience) with GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Experience of using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (or equivalent packages) is essential
Lunch is available on the Foundation premises during School term time and there is ample parking on the Foundation premises
The Foundation is an educational group consisting of schools and day nurseries. We have Dean Close Senior, Preparatory and Pre-Preparatory Schools on one site in Cheltenham and Dean Close Airthrie School based on another site in Cheltenham. There is Dean Close St John’s Preparatory and Pre-Preparatory Schools in Tutshill, Chepstow.
Through Dean Close Nurseries Ltd we have 6 standalone day nurseries based in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Chepstow, St Arvans and Newport.
Dean Close Services Ltd is the commercial arm of the group developing business across all sites.
