Eurolink Security Installations Ltd is a long-established small business. We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrator.


  • Bookkeeping, Credit Control/Administration experience in a company of a small/medium size (for at least 3 years)
  • Experience in preparing VAT returns and management accounts
  • Confident in using excel/outlook/sage and payroll manager
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidence to work independently
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and communication skills

Desirable but non-essential

  • An accounting qualification (or part of one)

The role will include:

  • Accounts preparation for management accounts
  • Bookkeeping & VAT return preparation
  • Cashbook
  • Monthly reconciliation of every bank account
  • Maintenance of the petty cash
  • Monitor budget, actuals and variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Attending regular debt reviews and credit control with Director
  • Coding invoices and allocation to relevant projects
  • Obtaining quotations and renewing insurances
  • Payroll processing and managing of the company pension
  • Communication with clients via telephone, emails and occasionally face to face
  • Administration tasks will be both routine and ad hoc to include electronic and general filing, preparing reports for engineer maintenance rounds and organising diary accordingly and answering the telephone. (Training will be given on our personalised system)
  • Organisation of engineers’ expenses

In addition to bookkeeping experience, the successful applicant will have sound interpersonal and customer service skills, organisational abilities personally and for the rest of the team, timelines, attention to detail, thoroughness, confidentiality and multitasking, also, strong administration skills. A working knowledge of SAGE, payroll manager and a clear understanding of business processes and excellent Microsoft skills.

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Working Hours:
As a guideline, the hours would be 9-3 p.m. 5 days per week, however we are flexible and will consider
other schedules if needed.
