Bathroom Design/Sales Executive


Leckhampton Bathrooms & Kitchens (LBK) has a new position for a Bathroom Design/Sales Executive to join our growing team.

We are an independent company offering bathroom, kitchen and bedroom, design, and supply services, giving a personal, one-to-one, professional service.

Based in Cheltenham, we have been helping our clients' visions come to reality for 29 years. Operating from a dedicated showroom.

Required Skills & Competencies.

You will manage your design orders from start to finish. Running multiple projects at once is expected, therefore you must be able to multi-task and be fantastic at organising.

You'll have an innovative and agile approach to identifying growth opportunities. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with a dedicated focus on driving results, whilst being committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to build and maintain relationships with both B2C and B2B clients, securing and converting leads for the business.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the company directors, to help with areas such as enquiries, client correspondence, designs, scheduling/coordination of projects, co-ordination with warehouse/delivery team, pre-sales/after-sales service, placing orders with suppliers, and client account management.
  • A pro-active approach to sales, with a strong desire and ability to win and grow new business.
  • Proven sales track record, previous sales experience – minimum 2 years.
  • Able to confidently communicate with clients in person, by phone, and by email
  • Self-confident and self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision or as part of a wider team
  • Experience in designing bathrooms (ideally for B2C and B2B), using software (Virtual Worlds, EasyQuote (minimum 2 year’s experience)
  • Aware of the latest trends
  • Ability to negotiate effectively
  • Full-clean driving license (if available)
  • Previous sales experience in a similar environment is preferable, but the right positive attitude is more important!

For successful candidates:

  • 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • 5/6 day rota from Monday - Saturday until 1.30 (compulsory)
  • Working in a small team environment, where you can make a real difference, be recognised for your efforts (and be rewarded for it!)
  • Starting salary dependent on experience (from £24000.00-£30000.00)
  • Commission package after successful probation period (earn up to £45000.00)
  • Company pension scheme
