Desired Skills, Experience and Background

·5 years+ of sales / business development experience across multiple verticals
·Experience in prospecting and closing new contract acquisitions, with hands on experience in senior / executive customer engagement.
·Evidence an extensive and organised database of relevant industry contacts throughout the target industry's supply chains from end user, through tier 1 suppliers to tier 2 manufacturers.
·Able to drive sales for the company and have experience in handling the complete sales cycle
·Exhibit an understanding of the applications engineering required to use the Company’s materials in a final structure / component
·Ability to manage financial / commercial expectations, develop and apply CRM systems and awareness and experience of monthly forecasting cycles.
·Able to understand and articulate value proposition within the customers' application(s) and overall business
·Industry understanding of competitive technology landscape, relating it to the Company’s technology and the positive differentiation therein
·Demonstrate awareness and in-depth knowledge of key industry players and maintain a strong and relevant contacts database
·Demonstrate and evidence historical profit growth of client accounts in terms of sales and underlying profitability
·Ability to input on project budgets, internal / expectations and delivery roadmaps
·Knowledge of typical industry material testing and compliance standards
·Participate in trade events, conferences and customer forums as required

Salary £48 – 56k with an uncapped commission structure

Please note that due to the nature of the role, candidates must be a driver and have their own transport, a car allowance will be provided.
