About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Business Development Executive to join our team for a fixed term period of 10 months.

You will be working for a growing company in Stroud, Gloucestershire offering a great working environment with opportunities to learn and grow. We are based out of town with plenty of onsite parking for when in the office.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and personable individual to help us generate sales pipeline, meetings and cross sell opportunities for our IT Infrastructure resale and Cloud Services Business.

The ideal Candidate for the role will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a sales, discovery or customer services role required and a confident telephone manner with an inquisitive nature. Some experience of the IT world would be desirable, though not essential.
  • Competent IT fluency (CRM, MS Office 365)
  • Attention to detail
  • Driven by own initiative and a get-going attitude

Key responsibilities include:

  • Predominantly cold calling of potential customer lists, farming of new opportunities.
  • Contacting potential clients via phone or email to establish rapport and passing qualified lead to Area Managers.
  • Introducing our company to new companies, explaining the core capabilities, obtaining relevant contact information and referrals for further discussion.
  • Contacting Customers / Potential customers on specific campaigns related to specific product areas goods or services.
  • Researching organisations and individuals online (LinkedIn) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
  • Ensuring data integrity within the CRM systems.

Salary: £14,000 to £16,500 depending on experience per annum

Hours Per Week: Full time - Tuesday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, Flexi Time options available
