Business Development Manager

Field based, London

Ranked in the top 5% of UK-based production companies, our expert team pride themselves on producing meaningful content with brand intelligence for businesses of all sizes, from national marketing campaigns to purpose-driven content for social media.

The majority of our team are based in our South West HQ, working with a diverse range of clients, including some of the world's biggest brands, to deliver projects nationally and internationally. This role is to establish a brand presence in London, focused on creating opportunities in the Capital and further afield as we look to grow our London team.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a driven and experienced business development manager to join our New Projects team, who has a good knowledge of the agency and digital landscape, who wants to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing media business with the ability to build our presence in London and be an integral part of the businesses growth.

You will be:

• Actively seeking and securing new business opportunities.
• Creating and updating lists of target businesses, and researching their current / future requirements.
• Creating and coordinating personalised proposals for clients to effectively communicate PinPointMedia’s offer to clients.
• Follow up pro-actively with prospect clients including meetings.
• Researching competitors, to understand the market and their clients
• Contacting potential clients via phone or email to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Networking and attending industry events where necessary
• Maintaining client relationships
• Conducting thorough fact finds with all enquiries to ensure a full brief is taken and their needs are understood
• Creating accurate quotes and proposals for projects, with assistance from the Projects Team if needed.


• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar B2B role in either a digital, advertising, media, events or similar agency environment.
• Understanding of video production is desirable
• Sales and target orientated with a strong commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in targeting sales contacts and converting leads into revenue.
• Have superb communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to think strategically to identify possible opportunities.
• Be able to have intelligent and relevant conversations with marketing decision makers and to manage an ongoing dialogue with prospects.
• Must be detail-oriented, diligent and very well organised.
• Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
• Good time management skills.
• Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
• Able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• A problem solver who is proactive, driven and ultra-organised.
• Self-motivated and ambitious.

The guaranteed salary is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience plus uncapped commission.
