Job description:
The 417 Bike Park is the biggest privately owned Bike Park in England. The hub of the Bike
Park is our cafe and we are looking for the right person to join our team to take the lead and
drive the business forward.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a strong supervisor in the hospitality sector and
will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and have a real passion for people in addition to great
team leadership and excellent customer service skills.
Required:
- At least one year experience working as a supervisor in a café or food establishment
Your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure that all foods are prepared, cooked and stored in compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation.
- Monitor and record relevant steps and activities of food preparation and hot and cold storage to ensure food is safe for consumption using the Safer Food Better Business guidelines.
- Prepare hot and cold meals and drinks to order in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Organise and manage the purchasing of café supplies to enable the café to meet the needs of its customers by:
- Undertaking weekly stock takes
- Putting a supply system in place to ensure stock control and efficient stock management.
- Responsible for all Health and Safety requirements, Policies, Procedures, Risk
- Assessments, Food Hygiene, COSHH records for the café. Ensuring these are kept up to date and adhered to.
- Ensure that the kitchen and front of house areas are always kept to a clean standard before and after service, and throughout the day.
- Management of café staff daily to ensure they deliver a high quality delivering of food preparation and customer service
- Opening and closing of the cafe
- Must have or be willing to obtain at least Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate
Hours:
- Thursday 9am-2pm
- Friday 9am-2pm
- Saturday 9am-2pm
- Sundays 9am-2pm
We would consider job share, working Thursday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday.
