Do you have experience in the Care Industry ?
We are a locally run private business based in the Forest of Dean covering the whole of Gloucestershire and surrounding counties. We provide services for complex care needs for young people.
We are looking for like-minded people who put caring for others first.
We require the following experience :
- Minimum of 1 year care experience in challenging behaviours
- Autism
- Cerebral palsy
- Complex care
- NVQ level 2 or higher
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, listening
- A caring, empathetic and compassionate attitude
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide personal care in young people’s homes
- Support the giving of medication
- Promote independent living
- Manage all nutritional requirements, through oral or peg
- Helping to access the community
- Full record keeping
- Liaise with families
Skills and Experience
- Full driving license and access to vehicle to travel to home locations
- Good communication
- Passion to help others
- Reliable and trustworthy
- A good knowledge of caring
- Ability to learn
