Care and Support Assistant - Various Posts


at Guild House Residential Home

What are we looking for?

We are keen to recruit caring individuals who share our values of dignity, respect, and good communication - are compassionate, hardworking and with experience in a care setting for older people living with dementia. Preferably any applicant would have an NVQ/QCF 2 in Care, be working towards one, or would be willing to complete one whilst working for the Trust. The administration of medicines is an important part of this role and experience in this would be an advantage - full training will be given to individuals who are appointed.

Post details: 

Post 1 - Maternity Cover: 30.75 hours per week (averaged over two weeks)

o Shifts are earlies, lates, evenings, and weekends.
o This post is initially for 6 months,and may be extended.

Post 2 - Twilight: 17.5 hours per week (averaged over two weeks)

o Shifts are in the evening
o This is a permanent post.

  • The rate of pay for the above posts is £9.15 per hour.
