*Full Time Support Worker - Days & Nights available*

Gloucester

Role: Permanent Contract 37.5-40 hours per week

Shifts: You can choose to do days or nights

Days - 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm

Nights - 9:45pm-7:45am

Do you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care or residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If you do not have any experience full training will be provided with ongoing support.

About the service

We currently provide support to 6 adults, with a capacity for 14, in a supported living setting. Individuals that are supported at the service may be autistic or have a diagnosis of learning disability, some individuals can display challenging behaviour. Everyone is an individual & is supported in a person centred way & no day is the same.

Support Worker duties:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
