Starting Salary: NJC Grade 3, Scale point 4-6 – Salary from £18,426 per annum pro rata

   (Actual salary £12,265 per annum for 26 hrs 40 mins)

Hours: Monday 07:15 – 15.45 (open weekend)
Monday 09:00 – 15.45 (closed weekend)
Tuesday 08.45 – 15.45
Friday 08:45 - 15:45
Saturday 08:45 – 15:45 (open weekend)
Sunday 08:00 – 16:00 (open weekend)

Start Date:      ASAP
Status:     Permanent

Applications are invited for the position of Care Assistant to work term time only (with an additional week for in-service training).  Some shift work is involved.

St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs. 

We are looking for a committed Care Assistant to support students in our residential setting and school/college.  Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role.  A level 3 qualification in health and social care would be desirable.
