Starting Salary:

NJC Scale – Grade 3 Scale point 4 (£18,933 full time equivalent)

Salary for 20.15 hours per week on average would be £8,996 per annum
Contracted Hours:

Part time –20.15 hours per week on average worked in a two week shift pattern
Every Thursday: 21.45 – 07.30 - 9.75 hours
Alternate Friday: 21.45 – 08.15 - 10.50 hours
Alternate Saturday: 21.45 08.15 – 10.50 hours

Term time only plus 1 week in-service training

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Status:  Permanent

Applications are invited for the position of Waking Nights Care Assistant to work term time plus INSET days.   A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.  Successful candidates without a Level 3 qualification would be expected to commence this training within the first few months of their employment

St Rose's is a non-maintained special school for pupils with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties.  We have provision from 2 to 25 years; with our post-19 students attending St Martin’s, our on-site college.

We are looking for a committedCare Assistant tosupport students in our residential setting overnight.    Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. This role is for term time only plus attendance at inset days for training.
