Locality Lead - (2021-3421)

Gloucestershire

Type of Contract: Permanent

Overview

Change, grow, live (CGL) is a successful health and social care charity working with individuals, families and communities across England and Wales that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse, and antisocial behaviour. Our services aim to encourage and empower people to regain control of their lives and motivate them to improve their health and wellbeing.

Working in the South of England, with easy access to Wales, the Midlands and the South West this is an exciting opportunity for a someone to become a leader within our high performing county wide service.

Responsibilities

You would work primarily within our CQC registered Stroud hub, but provide a proportion of your time supporting hubs across the County to ensure that we are delivering the best services that we can and that our staff are cared for.

Our Gloucestershire service provides a high quality, accessible and integrated approach for alcohol and drug treatment, harm reduction, recovery, and reintegration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Locality lead to join our team; working under the guidance of the Services Manager and the Deputy Services Manager you will be responsible for day to day operational leadership and oversight of the Stroud locality, supporting and engaging positively with our staff to drive forward improvements to services and to ensure quality of provision.

Our team is made of many skilled staff working together – including our Lead Consultant Psychiatrist in Addictions, GP, Nurses, Recovery Coordinators, NMPs, Peer Mentors, Health Care Assistants, and local Pharmacists. Our collective aim is to make a difference to the lives of service users and their families across the county.

With the benefits of both the city, the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside and with easy access to the coast and the ancient Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire offers a great range of schools, housing and lifestyles – all within commutable distance.
