Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse – Level 2 or 3


We are looking for a bright bubbly person to join our small team.  Enthusiasm and caring personality are a must for this position.  The children and families we care for are an absolute delight, so much so, no day is the same.  For the right person joining our team it will not feel like work but joining a fun-loving inclusive family.

Bright Eyes Day Nursery is a homely, privately run, caring nursery providing nursery care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We pride ourselves on our partnership with parents and passion for creating an individual learning environment for each child.

We have an exciting opportunity to join us to work as part of our team, delivering high quality childcare.

Job details:

To work as part of the team to deliver high quality childcare. The position will involve working with children and your duties will include preparing and carrying out activities, supervising play, observations planning and assessments, record keeping, preparing snacks and mealtimes, cleaning and tidying throughout the day, communicating with parents. Up to date knowledge of the EYFS is essential and the successful applicant will be required to plan and assess for key children.
Experience within a similar job role would be preferred.
Level 2 Childcare Qualification is preferred but Level 3 training can be given. Up to date First Aid, Child Protection & Found Hygiene qualifications would be preferable. Training would be provided if not.

Start Date: May 2021
Hours: 37
Holidays: 28 Days holiday including bank holidays and we close for 1 week at Christmas.
Training: Appropriate training will be arranged for First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection, and we have more options for additional training in house and externally.
Pay Rate: Will be discussed at interview and will reflect the market rate depending on the candidates experience and qualification
