Community Development Officer - Part-time position

Part-time position at GRCC (1 year contract)

Join our team at GRCC as a Community Development Officer

We are looking for a dynamic, engaging and inspiring person to join our community development team.

We are an organisation with an appetite for change – both around us and within our team – and we are looking for a new colleague with a can-do attitude to play an active role in that journey. The successful candidate will have experience of working with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and in and with a wide range of communities.

You will be working with a diverse range of people and organisations and will need to be adaptable, organised and an excellent communicator in order to engage and work with communities on developing their projects and ideas.

This is a part-time post (21.6 hours per week) based at GRCC’s offices in Gloucester*. Post holders will be required to travel to meetings countywide and occasionally out of the county. Evening and weekend work may be required, for which equal time off in lieu is allowed.
