Cheltenham Education Partnership Coordinator (1 year fixed term contract, Term Time Only) - S1729


Salary: Grade 5 £24,641 - £26,715 pa pro rata

1 Year Fixed Term Contract

14.8 hours per week, for 39 weeks per year. This is a Term Time Only post.

Formed in 2018, the Cheltenham Education Partnership (CEP) is an equal partnership of secondary schools (from both the maintained and Independent sectors) and local organisations and charities. The values of the Partnership are collaboration and co-operation. The driving ambition of the Partnership is to expand the horizons of young people in Cheltenham and to help them realise their full potential.

The Cheltenham Education Partnership is organised as follows:

  • Strategic oversight of the Cheltenham Education Partnership is undertaken by a Steering Group. the Steering Group will hold 3 meetings a year i.e. once a term. 
  • The aims and objectives of the Partnership are developed into initiatives by the Operations Group. The Operations Group holds monthly meetings

The CEP Co-ordinator will sit on both groups thereby ensuring a flow of communication.

The Head of the School of Education and Humanities at the University of Gloucestershire, chairs the Cheltenham Education Partnership (CEP) Steering Group and will line manage this post.

We are looking for a person who has the ability work collaboratively with a range of partners and other stakeholders.  They will have successful experience of managing projects to time and budget.

The post will suit someone with excellent communication skills; strong IT skills and who is confident in the use of social media platforms.

The post is for a one-year fixed term period and is term time only (39 weeks per year). The appointee will be based at Francis Close Hall Campus and will need to be able to travel easily to all schools in Cheltenham.  The appointee will need to hold a clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
