Technician Demonstrator - Landscape Architecture - S1868


Salary: Grade 6 £27,511 - £32,817 pa pro rata
Job Type: Support


This is a fixed term post from September 2021 to June 2022

Term time only post, 29.8 hours per week for 42 weeks per year

The School of Art and Design is a vibrant and rapidly growing element of the University of Gloucestershire. We are looking to recruit a Technical Demonstrator to support the teaching and learning activities within the Landscape Architecture discipline.

The role requires up-to-date detailed knowledge of, and the ability to teach, a wide range of software applications including AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Sketchup. This includes the research, preparation and delivery of teaching materials.

The post-holder must ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective and professional service. A commitment to excellent customer service is a key aspect of the role and the post holder is expected to support academic colleagues to develop and maintain good contacts with other University staff, academics and students as well as with others as appropriate.

The post holder is also required to be flexible in his/her approach to duties depending upon patterns of need in teaching, research and consultancy. Training in the use of specialist equipment / resources will be provided if necessary
