Job Details:

National Star are seeking to appoint an inspirational Tutor to deliver high quality programmes for young people with complex disabilities which may include Autism, Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and/ or Multiple Learner Disabilities. You will have experience of delivering innovative and person centred sessions to young people in a specialist setting.

You will also have an understanding of a post 16 curriculum in a specialist setting, possess excellent communication skills and hold or be willing to work towards a relevant teaching qualification.

Your teaching and recording of progress will meet required professional standards and ensure high quality provision for young people with complex learning difficulties.

You will need to possess excellent team working skills to successfully collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximise learning, independence and wellbeing in order to enable students to achieve aspirational and personalised outcomes for life after college.

You will confidently build positive relationships with learners, colleagues and external stakeholders.
