Tuesday Evening Volunteer (Younger Youth Club)

Cheltenham

About The Opportunity

TNT (Tuesday Night Transition) is our school years 5,6 & 7 (age 9-12) youth group. Stretching across both primary and secondary age ranges, encouraging these transitional ages to mix together whilst getting them used to moving up to Secondary school.  TNT usually includes high energy activities and games and encourages participation and teamwork! Volunteers are needed to join the team which offer an exciting, safe and fun environment for the young people. You would be involved in activities and engaging with young people using the centre.

If you enjoy working with young people and keeping active this could be the volunteer role for you. Activities you might get involved with or lead could be; cooking, art, a variety of sports, dance, music, drama... whatever your interests! If you are interested in getting into youth work or want to develop skills in this area, this could be the volunteering opportunity for you!

Volunteers from all age groups, background and faith are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out, however having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. All volunteers will receive induction training to include safeguarding prior to volunteering.

Further training opportunities are available in Food Hygiene, First Aid & more.

About The Rock
