Westbury on Severn CE Primary school is a small, highly inclusive, rural school on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We have wonderful children, supportive parents and a highly skilled and dedicated staff.

The Headteacher, in collaboration with the Governing Board, is actively seeking a compassionate and capable Assistant Headteacher to join our school to help shape its future direction. This is a strategic and hands-on role combining leadership, class teaching and responsibility as the school’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). This is an ideal opportunity for an excellent and experienced class teacher who wishes to take the next step in their career whilst broadening their knowledge of SEND, as well as further developing their teaching skills in a mixed age KS2 classroom.

We are offering visiting times on Thursday 13th November at 3.30pm or Friday 14th November at 9.30pm, where you will be able to meet the Headteacher and have a tour of the school, as well ask questions about the role.
