FLT Driver - Counterbalance and Flexi Trucks

Tewkesbury

Department: Warehouse Location: Head Office, Tewkesbury

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Intamarque Limited are currently looking to recruit experienced and reliable FLT Drivers for both Counterbalance and Flexi trucks. We offer full training and will cover any costs of conversion training and tests. You will join our friendly warehouse team on a full-time, permanent basis working 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday located at our distribution centre in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £11.50 per hour

You will be a self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong accuracy skills are essential, along with experience of picking, packing and despatching goods. As a FLT Driver at Intamarque your duties will include:

• Replenishment of Pick faces from bulk storage ensuring all pallets are located in the correct warehouse location
• Use handheld Scanners to ensure that items are picked and despatched correctly.
• Move pallets from Goods In, into bulk storage locations ensuring pallets are in the correct bulk storage location
• Load and unload lorries that arrive at our distribution centre
• Load and unload containers using the container ramp
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
• Keep trucks clean and carry out safety checks in line with Health and Safety

What you ideally need to join us:

• You will ideally have a current Counterbalance or Flexi Truck Driving Licence
• If you only have a current counterbalance license, be prepared to sit a conversion course to allow you to drive a Flexi Forklift. Paid for and arranged by Intamarque.
• You will have experience of working within a fast paced warehouse environment
• You will have good attention to detail
• You will have a good level of maths to ensure picking accuracy
