Family Support Team Leader

Cheltenham

Grade/Salary: Grade 8 – Point 26-30 £29,636 - £32,878 £18,021 pro-rata

Required Attendance: All Year Round

Start Date : ASAP

Full/Part time : Part Time (3 Days per week)

Contract: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our leadership group, responsible for the delivery of a range of high-quality children and family services.

As Family Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated and professional family support workers to deliver improved outcomes for children as part of Gloucestershire’s Early Help Offer.

You will have experience of working with children and families at all 4 levels of intervention (GSCE) and a thorough understanding of the benefits of multi-agency approaches.

This is a permanent position working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.

The post holder may be required to work at any of the Children and Family Centres operated by the Federation across the Cheltenham and Tewksbury area.

As a member of the Federation Team we will offer you;
 Support – through six weekly supervisions and an Annual Performance Review.
 Training – on-going continued professional development which could include on the job training, work shadowing, courses and qualifications – all depending on what you need as a person and what the organisation needs now and in the future.
 A workplace pension scheme to all qualifying staff.

As part of the recruitment process you will be asked to complete an interview, presentation and a short task related to the post of Family Support Team Leader.

We will require two written references for all shortlisted candidates.

In accordance with our data retention policy we will keep all paperwork related to the recruitment of this post for 6 months after which it will be destroyed.
