Team Leader

Matson House, Gloucester

We offer outstanding residential accommodation for adults with learning difficulties that combines modern facilities with a beautiful outdoor environment at our Matson site.  Matson House has been tastefully renovated to preserve the historic importance of its Grade II list status. 

Our service users require support with various aspects of their day to day lives.  This could mean cooking, shopping, attending local community and enjoying activities of their choice.  Helping our young  adults to live as independently as possible.

We are seeking a caring, compassionate and committed individual with the right values to be a Team Leader, supporting  our amazing service users to lead fulfilling and independent lives. That’s where you come in!

You will be working at Matson House , where you will be supported by our experienced  team of senior staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards
• Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues
• The ability to keep calm under pressure
• Confidence to work alone and as part of a team
• Excellent communications skills
• The passion to work with vulnerable adults and desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.

A UK driving license would be desirable but not essential.

Due to the nature of the position, successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
