Stonehouse Court Hotel is a 17th Century, Manor House Hotel, boasting 36 bedrooms, 4 conference and events rooms, two restaurant areas and 3 busy bars!
The Opportunity
An incredible opportunity has arisen for a charismatic individual to join the team as our new Bar Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and manage three bars including, our manor house Cocktail Bar, our seasonal Terrace Bar, and our busy Function Bar. This is a real opportunity for someone with new ideas, passion, and flare, to make these bars their own. The successful candidate will lead from the front, with the team and will lead by example.
What we are looking for
• Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a similar property, or strong bar supervisor
• Someone who can confidently lead a team, organise and run three bars
• Cocktail Experience Essential
• Good knowledge of Beverages
• Charismatic, enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong emphasis on good service
Key Responsibilities
• Strong focus on high quality customer service
• Fully responsible for staff recruitment and training for the bar team
• Responsible for producing weekly Rota's in line with company forecasts and budgets
• Responsible for weekly ordering of cellar stock
• Responsible for Bar & Cellar maintenance (line cleaning, stock control. wastage, general cleanliness)
• Working closely with Operations/GM on new menu ideas and bar practices.
Contract & Benefits
• Full time contract
• Salary ranging from 22-25k per annum, based on experience
