SQL Server Database Administrator / Developer

Remote Working / Cirencester

Immediate start available
Full-time, Permanent
Flexible working / location: Remote and occasionally in the Cirencester office

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled DBA / Programmer to join our development team.

We expect the role to be predominantly home based after induction, however, the role is based in Cirencester so we expect applicants to be based in the UK with the ability to travel to the Cotswolds occasionally when required.

Be that maintaining and developing our systems in both Azure and our private clouds as well as working with our business partners in both the public and private sector to deliver our services.

We are looking for the right person, preferably with the skills listed, but most importantly someone who wishes to learn and develop their skills and who will fit into our busy and friendly team.

What the role requires
We are looking for a UK based Graduate, or equivalent with a year of the following:

  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Monitor system's health and performance
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
  • Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real-time & provide suggestions for solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
  • Transact - SQL
