Agile Delivery Coach
South West, Gloucestershire, Rosehill - Hybrid
To help the organization to deliver better products in a more streamlined way through taking the time to understand existing working practices and culture, identifying opportunities for improvement and working with the teams to provide them with the right knowledge, training and support to find sustainable solutions.
Levels of understanding of Agile methodology and mindset vary so it is critical that the person in this role can adapt their language and approach to inspire ‘buy-in’ across the organization as to how agile practices play a role in delivering improved business outcomes.
- Work with the software development, data science product development and the business change team to analyse current systems and processes and design and implement a strategy to harmonise and integrate related methodologies.
- Facilitate and provide learning and development through individual and team coaching and training.
- Coach senior management in Agile practices to ensure adoption of best practice from the top-down.
- Observe and guide teams to fine-tune their approaches as needed, where it can help deliver better business outcomes.
- Champion effective goal setting and use of objective metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with the teams to establish a consistent approach in the adoption of tooling for the purposes of planning, tracking and reporting.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
- Substantial experience as an Agile coach and Scrum Master, with tangible examples of experiences in different organisational cultures and/or within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) - evidenced through a formal qualification.
- Significant experience of running Agile projects of varying size and complexity in both pure agile and hybrid environments.
- Exceptional coaching skills, up to a senior level, demonstrating the ability to challenge, support and develop individuals and teams.
- An excellent communicator, influencer and motivator who takes a practical rather than theory-led approach and can communicate technical concepts and challenges to non-technical audiences.
- Able to distinguish between the time to coach and the time to troubleshoot.
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to engage and operate at all levels in the organisation and mediate disagreements to agreeable resolutions.
- Ability to hold people to account.
Pacakge
Salary - up to £60000
