Digital Designer - 3464

Gloucester

We’re excited to be recruiting for an exceptional design team who have helped position this business ahead of the market.  Working in a rapidly expanding sector you will be asked to produce exceptional visual assets for digital communications and their phenomenal website. Whether that is designing marketing emails, responsive landing pages, web banners or user interfaces, you will have an outstanding eye for detail and consistency.

Along with the Senior Designer, eCommerce Team and IT Team you will report directly to the Brand Director so your communication and team-working skills will be just as important as your creative flair.

We’re looking for a candidate with a digital-first mentality so, alongside the usual Adobe Creative Suite skills, we expect you to have strong experience of designing and wireframing web designs with user experience in mind.

This is a forward-thinking, technology-driven company who are hugely commercial and the simple ambition to sell more permeates all that they do. So it will be important that you can interpret a data-driven design brief where they are trying to solve a specific problem on the website and produce designs that deliver exceptional customer experiences. Whether you are designing mobile-friendly layouts for email campaigns, landing pages that achieve the best conversion rates, or banners that make our promotions jump off the page, it’s all about maximising the success of the business.

Essential Skills

Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
Experience of digital design including emails, banners and landing pages
Experience of web design for Ecommerce
Experience of delivering effective User Experience design
A passion for consistency and brand standards
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Desirable (but not essential)

Full Adobe Creative Suite
Experience of version control systems
Knowledge of front-end design libraries such as Bootstrap
Experience of email service providers such as Mailchimp
Experience working with drag & drop or WYSIWYG HTML Builders
Experience of Conversion Rate Optimisation

Salary: £30,000-£32,000

Hours Per Week: 37.5
