Dear Subscriber,
Following last week's email asking what you would like to hear about, several people contacted us with different requests, so today's thoughts are about "returning to work" and there are lots of new jobs listed below.
So you might be returning to work after having a family, a period of illness, sabbatical or unemployment, which would mean that you have a blank space for a period of time on your CV, amongst other things.
My personal suggestions would be:
1. Think about what you have done in the past and work out if that is what you want to do in the future?
2. If not, work out what you might like to do moving forwards and what you need to do that. Look at roles advertised in that field and talk to training providers about what qualifications you can take.

3. Once you have worked out what sort of job you are applying for, tailor your CV for that role. So, if you are applying for a particular position, highlight the roles where you have used the skills required. It might be that while you have been off work, you have done some voluntary work or you have a hobby where you have used these skills.
4. Think whether you know someone who can help you with your job searching? It can be a lonely process, so find a "buddy", with whom you can share the experience. Maybe a friend, neighbour, mentor or a professional, such as Louise Jenner "The Dream Job Coach": More details about Jouise Jenner.
