Dear Subscriber,
Well, last Friday 9th January, Nick Clegg, Deputy Prime Minister, was in Gloucester signing a £62.5 million agreement for the government to invest in the Growth Deal for Gloucestershire. The Local Enterprise Partnership estimate that will lead to up to 5,000 new jobs in the county.
Whilst that won't come into effect immediately, it sounds to me like good news for all of us, especially those looking for a new job.
More details and a photo are on the www.GlosJobs.co.uk news page.
Until those new jobs are made, you will need to apply for existing vacancies, of which there are now 2,334 advertised on www.GlosJobs.co.uk and a large selection below.
If you are a aged between 18 and 30 and thinking of setting up your own business, then help is at hand from The Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme. They are running two courses soon, to help work out if your business ideas are viable and whether self-employment is right for you. More details on The Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme.
Many thanks,
Belinda Wilson
