Hello Subscriber,
This week, it was announced that unemployment across the country has risen but in Gloucestershire has gone down by 8%, since the last figures. Fewer people are applying for jobs, which seems to tie in with the drop in unemployment locally. I reckon that this means that if you are looking for work, sending in good applications and applying for roles for which you have the right skills, then you have a better chance of getting an interview.
So, my message today is to target your applications and keep trying. It can be hard, but there are 2,890 jobs listed on www.GlosJobs.co.uk for which you can apply and a selection of new jobs listed below.
If you are looking for a temporary job, we have a over 200 in our Other Temporary Work section: More details here and over 80 in our Temporary Office Work secton: More details here.
If you need help writing CVs & covering letter as well as interview skills, you can get free advice from the National Careers Service and GFirst LEP.
So, good luck with your job search and please remember to let me know if you have any suggestions for www.GlosJobs.co.uk.
Many thanks,
Belinda Wilson
