Looking at the bigger picture across the UK, the latest Labour market overview, UK: April 2025 report from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) says there are slightly fewer job openings overall. The number of job vacancies have been going down for quite a while now – this is the 33rd quarter in a row that it has fallen! It's also a bit lower than it was before the Coronavirus pandemic started in early 2020. Read the full report HERE.
