Development Manager (Fundraising)

Cheltenham

Cheltenham College seeks to appoint an experienced, pro-active Development Manager who will work closely with the Development Director in supporting the fundraising programme and encouraging lifelong engagement and support of the school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, natural networker who can continue to build on the foundations of a fundraising network already in place.

This is an incredibly exciting role for a skilled communicator who is confident in supporting the delivery of a major-gift solicitation programme as well as taking ownership of soliciting major gifts through face-to-face fundraising. It is also essential that the successful candidate keep themselves fully aware of legislation concerning philanthropic gifts and the related tax implications.

The salary will be between £32,000-36,000 per annum depending on experience.

Staff are also offered a complimentary lunch during term time as well as free membership to College's gyms and pool.

Closing date for applications is Sunday, 16 May 2021 with interview to take place shortly after.

Please click on the Apply Now button to download an application and supplementary information form, or contact the HR Department via the number in the contact details to ask for the forms to be posted to you.

Please note that a completed application form is required in addition to a CV and covering letter. CVs alone will not be accepted.  They must be returned electronically to the email address, or by post to the contact details given in the advert on the College website.

Cheltenham College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in its recruitment and selection of job applicants and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
