Process Improvement Manager

Planning Department

Based at Pittville Campus, Cheltenham

We are looking to recruit a Process Improvement Manager with proven experience in business analysis, process mapping and delivering change initiatives.

The Process Improvement Manager will join the Planning Department, which is responsible for strategic planning, annual operating and business plans, data reporting to external statutory bodies, internal management information, academic planning and oversight of corporate projects and business process improvement. The post-holder will work alongside other project and process improvement managers.

The primary function of this post is to drive process improvement and business change through the transformation of key business operations within the University. The post holder will lead on defining project scope, analysing requirements, mapping processes, identifying process owners and implementing change.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, process review and improvement, and project management. They will understand how business processes operate, and how those processes are supported and enabled by IT systems, and they will have worked on projects involving implementation of technology solutions and related business change.

The post holder must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong stakeholder management skills, and be committed to transformational change.
