Production Manager
Gloucester
Norville 20/20 the leaders of British bespoke optical manufacturing is building a team to transform the business into both a rightful cornerstone of optics and a core pillar of its parent company INSPECS.
We are looking for an ambitious production manager to join our expanding team. This is a new role, created to be part of our onsite senior team, to co-ordinate the day-to-day operations.
With an enviable position within the optical market we are growing and currently have over 50 employees over two shifts. The Production Manager will oversee all elements of running our production: Surfacing (digital and hard tool), Coating, Glazing and Dispatch. Your responsibilities will also include health and safety management, continuous improvement, and product flow for throughout.
The ideal candidate will have significant manufacturing experience, ideally within (but not limited to) an optical environment. We work with many product variations and it would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar environment.
Confident with leading others and liaising across the business, you will be passionate about instigating best practices to meet our customer needs. You will be familiar with LEAN/continuous improvement process and ideally have evidence of improvements you have introduced in your current role. In your current role you will be familiar with KPI management as well as capacity planning. You love a challenge and getting stuck into your role.
