Website Trading Manager - CB-GL/WM

Gloucester

My award-winning client, based in Gloucestershire, is looking for a Trading Manager to join their Ecommerce team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you will take ownership of growing our extremely successful B2C Ecommerce website, working in conjunction with the purchasing, commercial and digital teams.

You will have a track record of driving revenue and contribution growth through improvements in all aspects of web trading – search, navigation, categorisation, branded content, promotions, basket experience, checkout experience and ongoing conversion rate optimisation.

Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for achieving sales and contribution KPIs for the web channel
• Co-ordinating and leading improvements to the ongoing conversion rate optimisation function
• Line management of the web merchandiser
• Ensuring promotional campaigns are accurately deployed on time.
• Ensuring all new feature developments are deployed to specification and achieves stated objectives
• Nurture and develop business opportunities to grow the website including new partnerships, new advertising strategies and new markets


The Successful Candidate:
• Must be commercially driven, as this role is fundamentally about growing sales
• Strong experience of working in an Ecommerce environment
• Strong experience of the day-to-day running of an Ecommerce website
• Experienced in conversion rate optimisation
• Comprehensive knowledge of PPC, SEO, UX and Email Marketing
• Degree educated or equivalent
