Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker / Carer
Located between Stroud, and Gloucester, Gloucestershire
I’m a disabled man that requires assistance with tasks of a personal care nature in my own home.
- You’ll be expected to fit in alongside my current care team.
- Needs may vary slightly on a daily basis.
- Full clean driving license desirable, as you would be responsible for driving my wheelchair adapted car.
- Experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills. Clear English speaking.
- Person centred.
- Good sense of humour.
- Punctual, hard-working and reliable.
- Conscientious with a can-do attitude.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Types:
- Part-time, Full-time, Permanent
- 2 x Part-time positions, with the possibility of creating 1 Full-time position instead.
Hours of work:
Generally 12 hour shifts (Midday – Midnight) but may vary with prior notice.
Due to the nature of the job, you will be required to work on weekends, and bank holidays. There will of course be fair rotas set in place, giving as much notice as possible. On the odd occasion you may be required to cover holiday, or sickness, but again I would aim to give as much notice as possible.

Experience:
- Care: 1 year (Preferred)
Duties:
- Supporting and assisting with all of my personal care requirements.
- Some domestic duties.
- Meal preparation.
- Shopping.
- Assisting me with any daily admin.
- Prompting and administering medication.
- Accompanying and transporting me to appointments and/or social events.
- Providing support with hobbies, work, and social activities.
