About the Role

This is an interesting and varied role with scope to take on a variety of different tasks. The main area of work for the Policy and Projects Officer will be to support the production of effective policies and strategies across the organisation and manage and support key projects across the authority through an effective system of project management.

Reporting to the Senior Policy & Governance Officer, you will work across a range of service areas with Senior Management Team, Senior and Line Managers providing project and policy advice, taking an innovative and forward thinking approach to solutions.

This role is a full time permanent position working 37hrs per week. 

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual that has experience as a policy and project professional and who has the confidence and ability to work and communicate with various individuals, groups and stakeholders across the Council.

This is an exciting time to be joining our multi-disciplined Policy & Governance Team and helping us to deliver some key priorities along the way.
