Buying Administrator


Division:    Buying
Location:    Head Office, Tewkesbury
Reporting  to:  Buying Manager

Job Summary:

Intamarque Limited are a global wholesaler & distributor of some of the biggest health, beauty & grocery brands. We partner with some of the biggest Health, Beauty, Household and Grocery brands in the UK and offer a full distribution service in addition to a 360 ĚŠ brand building journey. 

Due to continuing growth and success of our award winning, Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a new Buying Administrator to join our team in Tewkesbury. The Buying Administrator role is pivotal to the smooth running of the Buying department and the main purpose is to provide a high level of administrative support to the team.

Profile of Job Role:

• Support the Buying tea, with daily replenishment of Core Lines
• Review daily/weekly stock requirements from suppliers (trading and manufacturer)
• Assisting Buyers with forecasting of promotional products
• Creating new Products within Salespad
• Entering Purchase Orders within Salespad
• Chase outstanding Purchase Orders direct with suppliers
• Following up on supplier shortages
• Monitoring Supplier Service Level (Lead time of stock, cancellations, shortages)
• Chasing late deliveries and urgent stock
• Raising Supplier Offers
• Raising PDF offers using specific software
• Booking in deliveries in warehouse diary
• Arrange collections from suppliers
• Provide holiday cover for Buying Department
• Proving administrative-cover support to other office departments when required
• Resolve any Buying queries from Sales Team
• Collating full Product Data including Safety Data Sheets & Dimensions Information
• Working with suppliers to obtain up to date product information and workable images.

Essential Experience:

• Experience of working within a busy administration role
• Experience of working within a fast paced office environment
• Strong IT skills and sound experience in Microsoft Packages.

Salary: Salary negotiable depending on experience

Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Friday
