Do you come from a sales background and are customer centric? Do you enjoy meeting people face to face too?   If the answer to both of the latter questions is yes, then we would urge you to read on as this is a rare sales opportunity we have found….!

This new role we are working on is one where you will be working with new and existing Clients…. in order to be successful you will need to be someone who has a natural rapport building selling technique, as it really is all about relationships within this role with new and prospecting clients to existing clients.  This is a varied role as literally no two days are ever the same – so you must love NOT knowing what the day will bring, as it can all change with the drop of a hat!  

The successful candidate for this role will absolutely be a “people person” and love to be hands on and deal with varying tasks associated to the role.  Candidates must have experience in BOTH sales and customer service and have a naturally inquisitive and probing mind…. This role is fully trainable for the right candidate who has worked within a Customer centric proactive Sales role, as it is unlikely that you will be from this Clients industry

The role will be working on your own (so if you want to sit with a large team of colleagues every day then this won’t be the right position for you!) You will be based at our Clients premises that are just between Cheltenham and Gloucester (ample free parking too!) .  Working for a National Company you will definitely feel part of a team as there are regular TEAMS meetings and you will have regular face to face and TEAMS meetings with your Regional Director too.  You will be a person with a “CAN DO and WILLING ATTITUDE” to work, as you will also work as an Account Manager for your existing Clients, so this role really does cover ALL bases. There is no set structure to your day, you will be your own boss organising and planning your days and weeks – it is almost like running your own business, as you will be responsible for profit and loss reports too . 

A salary of c£28 – 32k with a realistic £40k OTE (by hitting certain KPI’s)    The role also comes with company phone and laptop (no car or car allowance is offered as you will be office based, any networking meetings or travel will be paid through expenses) .  There are no set hours for this role (it is a normal working week of 37.5 hours but you must work from the office every day Monday – Friday … My Client is also really flexible with early starts or later finishes too should a candidate need this. 

A fabulous opportunity for someone who really likes to take responsibility of a role, it will utilise all the skills of a proactive Account Manager from a sales background …… it will involve lots of co-ordination too, and unfortunately yes you can’t get away from the dreaded administration and reporting tasks too..

Candidates with a background from the following industries are of interest ; Sales / Recruitment / Events / Travel or Hospitality (sales) would be a great fit for this Client. 

Please note as this is a Customer facing role, a professional telephone manner, appearance and demeanour are essential as your Clients can be anyone from a B2C customer to a corporate B2B business
